Spring It On: 2019 Spring Outfit Preview

“No matter how long the winter spring is sure to follow.”

– Proverb

Winter seems to be dragging on BUT spring is right around the corner…only a month away (FINALLY)! Yes it’s still February but it’s never too early to start thinking about a cute spring outfit. Warmer days are on the horizon and all I can think about is beautiful, sunny spring days with cute dresses and sandals. Who’s with me?

If you’re like me, you’ve probably already started shopping for the perfect spring outfit (or multiple spring pieces, you shopaholic!) Here’s some outfit inspo if you’re as ready for spring as I am (PS: Please excuse my cheesy titles!):

(All of the items below are linked on my Like To Know It profile so you can shop directly from these pics by clicking on them! If you have any questions about how LTKI works, feel free to message me.)

Breezy Day

Spring is all about pastels! This look is a perfect casual spring outfit…well, casual for me. It screams spring break to me, especially if you’re headed somewhere tropical. The palm print shorts are so fun and I love pairing them with a lacy cami and a light bomber jacket. Pump it up with some pale pink block heels and silver jewelry for a super breezy look. If heels aren’t your thing, slip on some cute sandals and you’re set.

Flirty Fun

Another fun print for you but with a splash of color. A coral top is perfect for a spring outfit, especially when paired with some dainty pink jewelry. You can keep it simple with some nude flats like these or bring in a pair of heels with a fun pop of color. To bring it all together, I added a black button up skirt. If it’s not quite warm enough yet, throw on a cardigan or a chic jacket.

Spring Date

If you’re more of a pants type of girl, this spring outfit is for you! A light pink tank is one of my musts this spring and I love pairing pastels with these patterned joggers. Pink isn’t for everyone so you can swap out this tank with another fun pastel if you want. I picked out some strappy grey heels to take it up a notch and wrapped it up with some silver jewelry.

Cool Girl

Stripes are one of my favorite patterns, so of course I had to put together a spring outfit featuring stripes! This fun romper can easily be taken from day to night this spring…just add a leather jacket when it gets cooler. I went with black and gold jewelry to go with these gorgeous black sandals. For the ladies who love heels, put ’em on with this romper to add extra flair.

I can’t wait to start wearing these pieces again and I’d love to know what spring fashion staples you are looking forward to bringing out!

2019 Valentine’s Day Outfit Roundup

“All you need is love.”

– The Beatles

Valentine’s Day is coming up on Thursday! Honestly, V Day has always been a fun holiday for me, even when I was single. It’s a great day to show you loved ones how much you care PLUS I get an excuse to wear lots of pink! Pink really makes for the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit, right?

A couple weeks ago, I ran a poll on Instagram┬áto see what you all wanted to see for a blog post this week and the people have spoken. So here is my Valentine’s Day outfit roundup! But here’s a quick warning: if you don’t love pink or red, these outfits are not for you.

(All of the items below are linked on my Like To Know It profile so you can shop directly from these pics by clicking on them! If you have any questions about how LTKI works, feel free to message me.)

The Perfect Date

Whether you’re married, engaged or dating, date night is necessary! I especially love getting dressed up for Valentine’s Day. I love this dress because it’s a deeper pink so if you hate bright or pale pink, this shade is for you. I like adding more pink with this statement necklace and a matching belt and crossbody bag to accessorize. Dress it up with some snazzy heels and you’ve got yourself a killer Valentine’s Day outfit!

Valentine’s at the Office

Pretty much everybody has to work on February 14 but that doesn’t mean you can’t put together an office-appropriate Valentine’s Day outfit. I picked a pretty pink floral tank for a pop of romance and made it extra cute for the office with this grey blazer. Why not add some pink and red jewelry as well? Nothing wrong with that! This sleek Kate Spade bag paired with pink block heels really pull it all together for a festive V Day look.

Galentine’s Day

Single and loving it? No problem! Celebrate Galentine’s Day with your best girlfriends in a fun, flirty pink and red look. I love this red and white striped tee because it’s casual but you can easily dress it up with this FABULOUS pink faux fur coat. I know I can’t get enough pink so throw on these super cute pink velvet booties to boost your confidence. A simple black bag and gold jewelry will let the rest of this Valentine’s Day outfit steal the show!

Romantic Brunch

If you’re lucky enough to have the day off, take your SO, best friend or yourself out for brunch! This look is much more subtle on the pink but still a super pretty Valentine’s Day outfit. Pair a cream sweater with a pink skirt for something that’s not so in your face. Keep it extra simple with black tights and booties BUT feel free to mix it up with a leopard print tote and statement jewelry.

Which look is your favorite for Valentine’s Day? I’d love to hear what your pick is down in the comments!
