Spring Forward with these Spring Shoes

“Give a girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world.”

– Marilyn Monroe

I’ve always liked the idea of spring: new beginnings, warmer weather (sometimes that happens in Denver) and super cute clothes! If you’e been following me for a while, you know all about my shoe addiction. It has definitely intensified over the last year but hey, a girl’s gotta have fabulous shoes!

Spring and summer shoes might be my favorites. I love cute sandals and heels, especially when I’m wearing a dress or jumpsuit! If you’re on the lookout for some fun spring shoes, you’ve come to the right place. Here are some of my favorites that you should totally buy too (All of the items below are linked on my Like To Know It profile so you can shop directly from these pics by clicking on them! Let me know if you have any questions about LTKI):

Nasty Gal On the Low Down Heeled Sandal

I’ve been loving heeled sandals lately! These are so perfect because they go with everything, the heels aren’t too high AND these are really comfortable. Neutral heels like these go perfectly with dresses, jumpsuits, shorts, skirts…you name it! Plus they’re great for showing cute spring nail colors.

Qupid Mariko Camel Leopard Mary Jane Heel

You know I’m obsessed with leopard print so I had to include them here. They’re the perfect work shoes and of course you can rock them for date night, happy hour with the girls or brunch! These heels are also really great for those of you who don’t want to wear crazy pumps but want a little extra height.

Qupid Athena Leopard Print Slide Sandals

My leopard print obsession continues with these adorable sandals! Another great pair of comfy shoes with a little bit of style. What I love about these sandals is they’re perfect for running errands, pool parties, baseball games…really any casual event! (PS: Qupid also has some snakeskin ones that are just as cute)

Qupid White & Gold Glitter Sneakers

I love glitter and shiny things, so these sneakers were a no-brainer for this list! If it’s a chilly spring day or you’re doing a lot of walking, you will love these sneakers. They’re stylish, the comfiest spring shoes ever and you’ll be getting lots of compliments on these babies (I always do)!

Rocksbox Review: Is It Worth The Money?

“Jewelry has the power to be the one little thing that makes you feel unique.”

– Elizabeth Taylor

I’ve always been interested in subscription boxes since they first came out. It’s fun to expect a package every month and not always know what you’re going to get. What’s even better than that? A subscription box that lets you customize what you get every time! That’s why I’ve fallen in love with Rocksbox.

What is Rocksbox?

What?!?!? You don’t know Rocksbox?!?!? Actually to be honest I didn’t know it either until they approached me to be an affiliate. But luckily you have me to tell you all about if you’ve never heard of it.

Rocksbox is a jewelry subscription service that basically lets you rent designer jewelry for only $21 a month. Hooked already? It is really awesome, trust me!

You’ll get three beautiful pieces of jewelry in every box. Wear them as long as you want or return pieces you’re not loving (Shipping is completely free both ways too…they even give you a free return label and envelope to use). The best thing is that you can buy pieces that you do love for a discount. And on top of that discount, you get $21 in credit in your inbox every month to use toward purchases, making the jewelry even more affordable! How amazing is that?

How high quality is the jewelry?

Very! Like I said, Rocksbox has only designer jewelry brands like:

  • Kendra Scott
  • Kate Spade
  • Sophie Harper
  • Loren Hope
  • Olivia & Grace

…and a bunch of other great brands! The jewelry that you get is really high quality too. It doesn’t fall apart like pretty much every cheap piece of jewelry I’ve ever owned. The metals are a much better quality and the pieces are always so beautiful!

Is the jewelry actually worth keeping?

Totally! I’ve actually kept half of the pieces that I’ve received so far. Before Rocksbox, I always just got jewelry at Forever 21 or H&M and called it a day. Then I’d be so mad when it broke…little did I know there was a better option that’s not super expensive. Of course, you don’t have to keep the jewelry. The pieces that I’ve sent back just weren’t my style but the great thing about Rocksbox is you can customize your box. Your stylist makes sure to pick pieces from your wishlist as long as they’re available, so you know you’re getting things that you picked.

All the jewelry that I’ve kept so far is so worth it because I know it’s going to last and I plan to keep it all for a while. They really fit my style and I feel so sophisticated wearing designer jewelry!

What does the jewelry look like?

Alright the moment you’ve been waiting for…pictures of the jewelry I’ve received! I’ll be honest: I didn’t get any pics of the first two items I sent back. But here are the pieces I’ve kept (and one I’m sending back):

Kendra Scott Rae Necklace in Silver Filigree

Ava Rose Camden Necklace in Rose Gold and Lavrakite

Ava Rose Chandler RingĀ

Any cons to Rocksbox?

My biggest complaint about Rocksbox is the ring sizing. I’m normally a size 9 (same size as my shoes) and I thought that would translate over to these designer brands. Boy was I wrong. When I wore the ring you see above, my finger was basically drowning! I even tried it on my index finger and it still didn’t fit well. It was a really pretty ring (even though I’m not a ring person usually), but that sizing mishap was not my favorite.

Other than that, I really think Rocksbox is completely worth it! You get designer jewelry as often as you want (so long as you return or buy other pieces), all for $21 a month. If that’s not a killer deal, then I don’t know what is!

How can I sign up for Rocksbox?

Ready for some amazing jewelry? I have some great news for you: if you use my code “rosesandrougexoxo,” you’ll get your first month of Rocksbox for FREE! You heard that right and trust me, you’ll be hooked after just one month!

If you ever have questions about Rocksbox, send me a message so I can help!
