Dairy-Free Holiday Treat Guide

I know not everyone out there is dairy-free or vegan but if you are or you just want to try something new, here’s my guide to some yummy holiday treats sans dairy:

Skinny Pop White Chocolate Peppermint PopcornI was definitely hesitant to try this popcorn since I’m usually not a sweets kinda girl but OH. MY. GOD! This is incredibly addicting! It tastes like peppermint marshmallows, which just makes it impossible to only eat a few pieces.

Califia Farms Peppermint Mocha Cold Brew CoffeeIf you love peppermint mochas from Starbucks, you will die over how delicious this cold brew is! It’s not overly sweet and it’s a great way to get your caffeine fix while being festive.

Kite Hill Chive Cream Cheese This isn’t just for Christmas BUT I think this would be a great addition to your holiday get together. Even non vegans will love this cream cheese (seriously…even my boyfriend loves it). Put it out with some crackers and your holiday party will go off without a hitch.

Celestial Seasonings Gingerbread Spic Holiday TeaBeing a tea addict, I had to include a holiday tea on this list! I love gingerbread and this herbal tea has a nice spice to it that’ll get you in the mood for Christmas. Plus look how cute this packaging is!

BarkTHINS Dark Chocolate MintAgain, not usually a sweets fan but there’s something about dark chocolate and peppermint that I love! The combo of these two flavors is way too good to pass up, even if you’re not a huge fan of dark chocolate.

Let Thy Food Chile con QuesoOne thing I miss about eating dairy is queso! Sure this isn’t just a holiday treat, but I love this vegan queso. Put it out for your Christmas party and everyone will love it guaranteed!

Califia Farms Almond Milk NogYou didn’t think I would forget dairy-free eggnog, now did you? If you miss the real thing like I do, you’ll go crazy over this one! It tastes just like actual eggnog and that’s a win in my book.

It’s always a challenge to find delicious dairy-free options but I know you will all love these picks.

Five Ways to Stress Less This Christmas

Christmas is my favorite time of the year! But everyone goes through at least a little stress around the holidays. So what are some ways to reduce your stress? Check out my tips:

  1. Do some shopping…for yourself! Seems crazy to buy things for yourself around Christmas but why the hell not? Take your mind off your shopping list for a bit and treat yourself to a mini shopping trip!
  2. Watch a Christmas movie…or a regular one if the idea of anything related to Christmas is stressing you out. I love watching Christmas movies because they always get my mind off of all the stressful things going on in my life.
  3. Go for a walk outside. Getting fresh air always helps me clear my mind. Even if it’s really cold out, bundle up and spend some time in the great outdoors!
  4. Stick to your regular eating habits. This one is always hard for me because stress makes me eat ALL the junk food you can imagine! It’s of course more than okay to eat some holiday goodies but do your best to still eat healthy, even when you’re stressed.
  5. Don’t go overboard on everything. Again this is hard for me because I go all out for Christmas. But if you step back and do less this year, you can spend more time enjoying yourself rather than running around like a crazy person!
