“White has it all. Its beauty is absolute. It’s the perfect harmony.”
– Coco Chanel
If you had asked me two years ago about my closet, I would’ve told you that I basically only had dark colors. I dressed pretty dark then (mostly black) and hey, there’s nothing wrong with that BUT I needed a change. In the last few months, I’ve started warming up to the idea of white wardrobe staples. WHAT…who are you and what have you done with Brooke? Honestly, white is a great neutral for summer and I’ve been wearing it a lot lately. It literally goes with everything and I think it’s perfect especially with a little tan (which I finally have again).
Anyways, here are just a few white wardrobe staples you’ll find in my closet (As always, you can shop all these pieces on my LTKI page):
Ok I honestly always thought white shoes were the dumbest things ever. Why would anyone ever want to wear white shoes that will 100% get dirty the second you wear them? As long as you keep them clean, you’ll be fine! These mules are my favorite this summer because they go with everything and mules are super trendy. Plus these are really comfy shoes!
I used to REALLY hate bodysuits but I’ve started really loving them recently. This white ruffle bodysuit is the cutest summer piece you could ever own. It looks fabulous with shorts, pants, a skirt…basically everything! I love how feminine this piece is yet it’s so effortless.
White Palm Print Pants
The second I saw these, I knew I needed them for summer! These pants have such a fun print and the material is also really light for warm summer nights. If you have a tropical vacation coming up or just a fun GNO, these pants will be so perfect for you. Every time I wear them, I always get so many compliments so they’re totally worth it!
White Striped Dress
I got this dress last summer and honestly wore it ALL the time! This piece is super cute and fun for shopping day with friends or grabbing brunch. I really love how lightweight this dress is…it feels so perfect to wear on a hot summer day!
